And now his parents and lawyer can be prosecuted if they do anything to help him other than tell him to turn himself in.

Oddly enough, parents cannot be charged with aiding and abetting in Florida. I do not know if this applies to federal charges. I also don't know if or how aiding and abetting differ from obstruction of an investigation. Any legal beagles?

I’ve heard about the Florida law; but I also wonder how it would go with Federal charges.

And I assume, if they knowingly abetted him, they’d also be liable for civil suits from the girl’s family.

No Florida law enforcement agency has jurisdiction over crimes committed in another state...

The body was found and identified in Wyoming and with the condition of the body as described exposed to weather and animals for an extended period time is unlikely to have been moved from another jurisdiction.
