Brian Laundrie’s parents rebuffed questions about their son’s whereabouts and told the media to scram as they left their home in Florida on Thursday morning.
Christopher and Roberta Laundrie were confronted by reporters as they headed to their red Dodge Ram pickup truck in the driveway of their North Port home.
“Mr. and Mrs. Laundrie, do you know where he is? Can you tell us?” one reporter asked.
“Go,” snapped Christopher.
“I’m going to go that way. I’m going to go that way,” he continued, pointing down the street before climbing into the truck with his wife.

And this is what my friend and I agreed that we believe Brian to be, a paranoid schizophrenic. We both wonder if this was already known by Brian’s parents (which could explain their over protectiveness towards their son) and has already been diagnosed as such
I had to deal with the court system and those who hold the power in a small community. This puts justice on a hairline unfortunately once you realize the powers you’re up against who play as dirty as they come. I learned there is no protection for the innocent in our Justice system.....and those powers have connections in every area of the Justice system. Once you walk it you understand it.
Fortunately Not guilty came through by the Grace of God. But the loss to family, home, community and reputation was horrendous and unrecoverable.
That I understand, completely. But I don’t understand not speaking to the family of a girl you said you loved and wanted to marry. I can’t understand, as parents, how they live with that. Everything else be damned, that is my opinion.

There’s nothing he could say to her parents that will ease their pain nor change the equation they are currently enduring. ...but they will know in time and tide what happened the caused their daughter’s death.

You’ve been given answers and refuse to accept that he had her van, has been shown to be violent and she’s dead. Then they callously stonewalled frightened parents. The HONEST, CHRISTIAN thing would be to talk. What they put her parents through is heartless and callous. And don’t hand me his 5th Amendment rights. Guilty people hide and stonewall.
Gabby wanted what a lot of photogenic young ladies want- a happy youtube channel with a lot of subscribers. In order to get this, you have to play the game. Look smart, look like you are enjoying life, show lots of eye candy. Unfortunately life is not like that. She had issues, and so did her “fiancee.” They crashed and burned trying to live up to the roles.
Mental illness could be a component, but just the stress of failing to live up to your own fantasy, is toxic enough.
