Steve Petito is speaking out on Instagram Wednesday against the law firm representing Brian Laundrie’s family, saying “we don’t require nor want your empathy” and “by you trying to show compassion here at this moment is beyond disgusting.”
Petito made the comments in reaction to a statement Laundrie family attorney Steven Bertoloni gave to Fox News yesterday, in which the lawyer said “May Gabby Rest in Peace.”
“As far as the law is concerned this law firm may be immune due to attorney/client privilege,” Steve Petito wrote.
“But in the eyes of the public you are as guilty and complicit with this massive cover-up and stalling tactic,” he added

Yep, but how does he explain the body being buried if it were accidental?
I know but my theory is that Gabby has been a victim of domestic violence for quite some time but due to her dependency on the guy, kept quiet about it.
I also suspect that after all those weeks on the road with him him, she probably couldn't stand it any more and wanted to go home and that likely set him off.....
Recall the 911 call from passersby that reported she was getting slapped around by the guy but when the officers showed up, she made no mention of it at all. And in fact allowed the boyfriend to claim she had hit and scratched him.
I think she was terrified of what he would do to her if she had told the truth.........That happens all to often when long term victims of DV fail to tell the truth to responding LEO's and refuse to press charges.
However, her friends that knew them both from HS tried to discourage the relationship. That speaks to him having issues since HS.
Nor do I.......
Fear of being blamed.....wouldn’t be the first time someone ‘hid’ evidence of a criminal act because of who it might implicate.
As I understand it she had issues as well...and likely why they paired up.
Toxic relationships often end up battering each other physically. Never ends well either. This one sounds like it fits that bill.
She had OCD and anxiety attacks. He is controlling and hears voices. Who do you think is dangerous and who’s now dead?

On Martha’s show today on Fox news she had neighbors of the Laundries parents on. They live across the street. They said that the Laundries recently bought a new camper (the kind that goes on the back of a pickup bed) and took Brian camping for a weekend after he returned home with Gabby’s van.
I didn’t catch the whole segment so I’m not sure of the time line.
Judge Jeanine was on the segment and commented that the whole thing was strange/weird. Why did a 23 yo go camping w his parents - what were they really doing?
My dad had low opinions of all the boys/men I dated except the last one, whom I’ve been married to for 30 years.
My dad was right, always. Took me ten years into adulthood to figure that out. Miss him every day. I would so love to hear his opinions on the crazy politics of today.
Reminds me of a story Kiefer Sutherland told about his step-daughter. She was going on her first date so he had some friends over. When the young man came in the door, Sutherland and his buddies were sitting there cleaning their guns. His step-daughter was home on time and untouched. :-)

You’re right. I’ve known a lot of people in those lines of work and they are way more corrupt than most people think.
