Gabby’s uncle calls law firm representing Laundrie ‘disgusting'
Fox News ^ | September 21, 2021

Steve Petito is speaking out on Instagram Wednesday against the law firm representing Brian Laundrie’s family, saying “we don’t require nor want your empathy” and “by you trying to show compassion here at this moment is beyond disgusting.”

Petito made the comments in reaction to a statement Laundrie family attorney Steven Bertoloni gave to Fox News yesterday, in which the lawyer said “May Gabby Rest in Peace.”

“As far as the law is concerned this law firm may be immune due to attorney/client privilege,” Steve Petito wrote.

“But in the eyes of the public you are as guilty and complicit with this massive cover-up and stalling tactic,” he added

I read that she told her Mom the engagement was off but that was the only person mentioned.

Ah, well, looks like they should have hired a defense attorney to get better advise.

That makes 3 jobs for her - Publix, a pharmacy and a juice bar and who knows what that “I’m a nutritionalist” she told the traffic cops meant.

Publix could have been back in HS since it hasn’t been mentioned since.

The question is what did the family know and did they help their son. The answer to your question is that the police have a prime suspect.

A man who witnessed the Aug. 12 argument between Gabby Petito and fiancé Brian Laundrie in Moab, Utah, told police at the time that "something seemed off."

According to a recently released written statement, the witness, identified only as Chris, told Moab police he was outside the Moonflower Community Cooperative near Arches National Park when he saw the couple in the middle of "some sort of dispute," KSTU reports.

In his statement, Chris wrote the couple were "talking aggressively" and could have been "play fighting," but it was hard to tell because "something definitely didn't seem right," according to WABC.

"It was as if this guy was trying to leave her, and maybe take her phone?" Chris wrote, adding that Gabby was punching Laundrie in the arm while trying to get back into the van in which they were traveling.

He noted when she made it back inside her vehicle, Gabby asked Laundrie, "Why do you have to be so mean?"

Another eyewitness called 911 to report the incident, telling the dispatcher Laundrie had been slapping Gabby.

He should still turn himself in. He can have his lawyer there to advise him.

She was a nutritionist at the juice bar and Publix is a grocery in Florida. The article said they worked at Publix to convert her used van.

Yes, he is not helping justice in the long run by talking about their relationship in case its this boyfriend who killed her.

But there is plenty that he can talk about. And even on the other things he is a father who lost his daughter so he can certainly talk all he wants as it is his right.

The Press has certainly moved this story to the public......after all lots of people go missing or found dead across the country. I haven’t followed this closely but I wonder if he isn’t in police protection somewhere.......guilty or not it would make sense because this has been made into such a story,

I also think possible, since there were already domestic issues by both of them.....if it wasn’t an unintentional murder. They got carried away.

Well the father clearly has boyfriend issues regarding his daughter..across the board. So anything he says will always be to have her the victim and the boyfriend guilty of harming his daughter.

As someone who was married to an attorney and lived next door to a chief of homicide, I have my own opinions. Many here won’t like them. I don’t care. It is my life experience, so I will share it (knowing there are always exceptions, but this is a generalized series of statements based upon the majority I have known). Attorneys are liars, thieves and crooks of the highest order. They don’t care if you are innocent or guilty. They care if they win and if they get notoriety and if they get paid.

Judges are worse than attorneys. The “fix” is often in before you even walk into the room. They should give oscars out to judges and lawyers. So many here are worried about getting a police state. Really? You’ve been living in one from the get go. Money talks, guilty walks. Power rules the day and has for as long as I can remember. If you are a peon you are up against a bought system that just doesn’t care. If you get justice, it is a fluke.

Cops want to close the case as soon as possible. They’d love to get the bad guys, but time and money are factors as is the opinion of their higher ups (bought and paid for) and the community at large.

The reason the cartels get away with so much is because they have money and power. The reason OJ walked was money. The reason so many walk today is because they cry FOUL and VICTIM (community at large).

So, for those of you still so concerned about cutting Laundrie a break because you fear a “police state”. Wake up and smell the roses. He is a white male, so guilty or innocent (and I think he is guilty and I am entitled to my opinion), he is going down (if he is still alive). He is the poster boy for today’s target practice. As the paint gets thicker, his chances get smaller. It is what it is.

I used to believe justice and right would prevail. In my lifetime of experience (and I am a senior citizen), it NEVER has. God will sift us, but American justice?????? It is to laugh.

If my sons girlfriend died in his care and the press was running a story as they’ve been doing....and her father against any boyfriend she dated. I’d hide my son and speak behind closed doors with authorities if it was an accidental death or unintentional....as well as with attorneys.

You can’t be too careful these days when accidents happen as the press riles up the public and the public goes out for blood.

“I've never liked any of Gabby’s boyfriends, let's be real.

I find that interesting and it now raises the question as to why Gabby was living in the Laundrie home with her fiancee....What kind of a relationship did she have with her dad?

I only bring it up because it may parallel what happened to my niece when she was engaged to her now divorced husband who put her thru hell all the years they were married until she finally got the courage up to finally divorce him. She moved out of her family's house following an "intervention" conducted due to her drug use and moved in with her fiancee's family and even dis-invited the family from her wedding.

I say "finally" because she first filed divorce several years prior and actually gave up a $10K deposit to her attorney when she decided to withdraw the filing thinking she could "change" him.........He too was a control freak who suffered from paranoia.

"I read that she told her Mom the engagement was off but that was the only person mentioned."

Yeah isn't that odd: surely he proposed, but then went straight to work backing out of it, so he could keep her on the hook while also keeping the van running.

Which suggests he proposed to shut her up about not-being-serious about their relationship (the evidence of which was right in front of her face).

So at the end, likely time and money were running out.

Brain is a coward, not suicidal (had plenty of time for that) and firmly believe he's in hiding and nowhere near the Mystery Swamp. That's a tall tale of expert misdirection there, and there are other websites that suggest his tribe has law enforcement within the family.

It’s not unusual for a Dad to have issues with their daughters choices. That’s pretty normal.

Oh if he’s guilty and it looks that way he certainly should turn himself in.

I am just saying a vigorous defense keeps a society far more just.

Lol. If you were married to an attorney then you know the "Whatever Works Corollary" : All clients are wretched assholes who deserve what they get.

My hometown growing up had a Great and highly respected and fair judge. Everybody liked him.......but he hated Attorney’s because they weren’t interested in finding the truth but just to win. He retired early for that very reason.
