In the video of the altercation in Utah on the body cam she admitted she hit the scumbag. The scumbag confirmed it. She admitted she lost it grabbed the wheel and hit him with her phone. The police, in that body cam video didn't do anything that I could tell AT THE TIME, improper. They had every right under the law to charge her with domestic violence but did not out of mercy for not ruining her life. They then separated them for the night. I think they acted proper.
That being said I don't think she was crazy or out of control or did anything that would justify harming her.

In other words, the "She made me do it" defense, which is unlikely to succeed.
