An attorney for Brian Laundrie’s family abruptly canceled a press conference scheduled for Tuesday – as authorities ramp up a criminal probe of the likely death of Laundrie’s girlfriend, Gabby Petito.
“As per my conversation with the FBI this evening there will be no press conference tomorrow,” attorney Steven Bertolino told The Post.
But Bertolino said it was “not true” that the FBI had advised him to cancel.
“Just not in my clients’ best interest,” he wrote in a text message.
The press conference would have been held on the same day of the autopsy on female human remains found in Wyoming that authorities believe is Petito, 22.

Like I said, and you verified: Idiots.
“So you think abuse and murder are indicated? Really?”
No, I don’t think “abuse and murder are indicated.”
I also don’t think you have a sense of humor. Really.
Even an average Long Island attorney would know (or would quickly ascertain) that Wyoming has a type of 'Extreme Emotional Distress' defense, and as I mentioned in a prior post, might get "MickeyHartbeard" Laundrie down to 10-15 instead of life.
Occam's says Brain stewed on that and figured he -- as 'Mr. Natural Outdoorsman' -- couldn't even do half that time (which is all he would do anyway) in a 5x10 cell in Wyoming's Rawlins mega-max, so he's flipped out and likely contemplating suicide-by-cop.
I will assume they took DNA samples from the Petito family at least a week ago.
Sounds weird.
They can send the family DNA profile in seconds via email.
I will guess that park animals ran off with a lot of her body parts.
But if you have "remains," you definitely have DNA, too.
I read that they were still combing the area where Gabby was found on Monday afternoon. Maybe they were waiting for more articles to be tested. They may be bringing in more that one coroner to assist.
How will they prove that if the parents say the son also refused to tell them anything about the missing girlfriend?
Unless the son confessed to his parents via email, the state has no evidence of complicity.
We are not on the jury so. No.
double standards are for unprincipled idiots. You hold the government to a standard that you yourself fail. Why bother.
Says the person morally outraged......
“How will they prove that if the parents say the son also refused to tell them anything about the missing girlfriend?”
In the absence of any other evidence, they won’t. Just because they can’t prove it in court, I can still evaluate the facts as presented. So far, they appear guilty to me. Could they reasonably assumed anything else when he showed up without his girl, in her car, lawyered up, hid the car in the garage and wouldn’t talk to the police? Not in my opinion.
You have convicted me without a government trial. Thank you for confirming my point. You can do that, but the government can’t.
You didn’t break the law. You just behave immorally. I witnessed it. Do I convict you of it? You bet. There’s not capital crime committed though, just lack of any moral standing since you’ve surrendered it.
You can’t have a principled position or a moral position for yourself and a completely different one for others, even the government. This is the kind of ridiculous behavior that allows for Hillary to get away with the obscene crimes she has. This is the kind of behavior that kept Jim Crow laws alive for so long. Its also what is referred to in the bible as hypocrisy.
If you take a position that the government has to be at THIS level or standard, then you as a principled person should meet THIS level or standard, at a bare minimum.
Dead via suicide........
With that being said, that 911 call revealed by the passersby and the officer's video of the encounter with the two was very revealing. If what the callers say is true, then Gabby was clearly lying to the officers and I suspect it was to protect herself from the potential wrath of the fiancee who claimed she had hit him.
I suspect she's been a victim of domestic violence for quite some time at the hands of the fiancee who is a control freak. But like so many such victims, their own insecurities keep them attached to these psychos by rationalizing that they deserved whatever punishment the abuser may have unleashed on them.........
I think this months long road trip with constant harassment from the fiancee likely pushed her over the edge and she wanted to end it and go home and in a rage, he killed her...........
My niece used to be married to a control freak who constantly verbally abused her (but never physically that I know of) and the two daughters for years until she finally had the guts to divorce him. But to give you and idea of her mindset, several years before the final filing of divorce, she attempted to do so and even forfeited a $10K deposit with her attorney after she decided not to go thru with it thinking SHE could save their marriage.........
Just my own theory and not worthy of arguing about.....
You are incorrect.
I know you’re trying to make a point here but its just not happening. Maybe reword your post so we can figure out WTH you’re talking about. 🤔
