Not nearly as many people get a yearly Flu vaccine as are getting a Covid vaccine.
Many people, including myself assumed VAERS was a reporting system used exclusively by Doctors and/or Facilities, it use to be.
The game changer was opening VAERS to the general public.
The accessible data and reporting availability for VAERS has Not been on-line despite the Internet’s 25 year history.
Even so, 25 years ago most people were still in the exploratory mode with the internet. We really didn’t know where it was going or what it could do.
Some were visionaries like FreeRepublic’s Founder.
I find it interesting you didn’t comment on untrained unknowledgeable people thinking or feeling as if they’re having a vaccine reaction.
You didn’t mention the people making bizarre dramatic claims that go unverified.
Picture VAERS like a Freeway Rest Stop…….anything or anyone can enter and do all manner of things there.
Sleep, eat, use the bathrooms, those are normal things.
Now include the people that take sink baths, solicit for sex, sell drugs, etc.
It’s open to the public, and in all honesty, the public can be pretty damn nasty………..
VAERS is is open to the public too.
I personally know liberal types who have had serious illness immediately after getting the second vaxx—and there is _no_ _way_ they would admit their error by reporting it as a side effect.

It is almost impossible for the average person to report something on vaers, the vast majority are done by their healthcare providers. Each reported case is investigated, the form itself takes a great deal of time to fill out. Most of the adverse reactions are not reported.
