I ran into Toni Basil in 1988 at a Spanish seafood restaurant in West Los Angeles. She was there with an entourage of women. The main thing that struck me was how tiny she was. She was somewhere between four-foot-ten and five feet. She also had vast amounts of makeup on her face.
For the record she had some miles ion her before she became a pop star.
