So, a black hole that is not accreting has a negative
pressure. What about one that is accreting? Can that
be measured? Would it be null or positive?
If there is nothing left to accrete, then it starves to death and dies?.................

Did anyone notice that the “discovery” was based on a mathematical equation using quantum field THEORY. Not an empirical discovery. “Mere supposition” as Sherlock would say.
BTW...if physical laws break down in a black hole, and many black holes can be forming...does that mean our universe doesn’t exhibit uniform physical properties all the time?
