The CDC has stated that vaccinated people can and do get infected, and spread the virus, but have a mild illness in general. Data shows this, including data from colleges like Cornell that report surveillance test data from their population of 95% vaccinated individuals.
That means that vaccinated people can spread the vaccine to each other, and the unvaccinated, and that the virus is busy mutating in their bodies too. From a mutation point of view the vaccinated hosts provide a selection pressure against virus mutations that the vaccine works well against.
That leads to the evolution of mutations which can evade the vaccine.
There really is no difference between the unvaccinated and the vaccinated except for the personal risk the unvaccinated are taking that they might have a severe case of COVID.
The plans from 2020 to actually eradicate COVID-19 are not realistic anymore since it has spread worldwide.
This is yet another attack on the employed.

Not so much. That said, from what I’ve been reading vaccinated people currently have better odds of staying out of the hospital and much better odds of staying out of the ICU if one’s health foot print puts them in the danger zone.
You understand that <5% of COVID cases require hospitalization, right? Everyone seems to think that if you get COVID, you go to the hospital. That couldn’t be further from the truth.
He and his team, along with fauci, have failed in their efforts to protect the country from the virus. As total failures always do, he is blaming the failures on a scapegoat, in this case, Republicans.
This will satisfy some of the public for a while, but it will soon become obvious that this action of his has failed, along with every other one.
Leftists always repeat failed solutions, expecting them to work the second time around, but they always fail again, prompting leftists to push for a strengthening of the failed measures, which also fail... (repeat until doomsday).

If the vaccines work why do the vaccinated need protection from the unvaccinated and conversely why bother to get vaccinated if you are according to Joe still at risk? If the unvaccinated are such a threat why is Biden flooding our country with illegal aliens most of whom have never been vaccinated and may be carrying diseases far more deadly than COVID like Marburg Fever, TB or Ebola?
