That, and more. I’ve given it to my cats, first a former one, who had feline herpes. Most recently, I gave it to one who earlier this year had a bleeding mouth ulcer, due most likely to eosinophilic granuloma complex, which the vet thought she had other signs of as well. I read online about giving lysine for cats’ mouth ulcers. Not only did it stop the bleeding, but it improved her skin, her bald patches grew the fur back in again too, and she has never looked healthier.

Lysine is supposed to be helpful for many things. Definitely one to keep in the cabinet!
