IDK enough about chess to make intelligent comments on the moves. But reading the article, the things I find interesting are:

1. This is the TROMPOWSKY attack. (sounds like Trump?)

2. Black moves are hidden/missing after the first 2 black opening moves.

If anyone here plays chess at more than an elementary level, I’d love to hear any comments or observations. (I was hoping to provoke that by posting the article link!)

The Trompowsky Attack is an unorthodox opening occasionally used in high level competition and leading to interesting complex play. It can transpose into a variety of other openings. It’s difficult to say where this game will lead.

Suffice to say chances are fairly even (with the given moves) and surprises will be in order.

Kinda like the movie we’re watching.
