Coming from the New York Times...oops, the LA Times, I feel pretty certain the primary goal was not the conveyance of information as much as it was the stoking of fear.
I am all for people getting vaccinations if they choose. I am dead set against mandating an invasive medical procedure, which if not submitted to, results in the loss of livelihood, and soon, liberty to travel or go out into society.
That I what I am fighting with tooth and nail right now. Unfortunately, I see too many people right here on this very forum who are willing to go along with forced vaccination and the conversion of those who don't comply into "others".
That is the real long term danger from this virus. This virus is going to make people sick and sometimes kill them. It is what viruses have done for millennia and will do in the future. We better learn to deal with it as people have always dealt with viruses excepting those that kill a large percentage of those it infects.
I agree, but I have to cut some slack in this particular case...it is an “Opinion piece/”Letter to the Editor”...but on the other hand I don’t see any Op-Ed’s with an alternate view being published by the L.A. Slimes.
