If it -only- lists ivermectin 1.87%, and not a second ingredient along with it, then that would be OK, and it’d be the same as durvet apple flavor sold at TS (and Amazon).

You make a good point about the connection. I think there is a similar psychological dynamic at work.
There is are two key differences, however, that I believe, hopefully can help to overcome this.
1) Children suffering sex abuse are just that, children, and have very little life experience when the abuse happens to know what is normal or not. Your golf partner, as an adult, has lived a whole adult life, I assume what amounts to a good 20 years now, and experienced “normal” for most of it. So I don’t think the rona “conditioning” is as strong with her as children who suffered sexual abuse.
I’m wondering if it might not be useful to read up on good therapy techniques that are used with children who have suffered sex abuse to see if there are any that can be tweaked and used as a model when it comes to some people. Anyone know of any good books on the subject?
2) Your golf partner is more of an abuser than the abused.
What government measures specifically was this golf partner in favor of?
What is the effect of these measures on the economy, joblessness, social welfare spending in the face of joblessness, etc.?
How much is she willing to be taxed to help out people displaced by the government’s measures?
Will this taxation mean she has to give up something, like golf club membership, in order to make up for the loss of income caused by the taxation?
The above questions also point to a key difference between this woman and child sex abuse survivors.
She lives in a world where there are consequences to government policy that spillover and hurt others more than the policy was designed to benefit people. These policies will of necessity hurt her. She should be willing to accept this hurt if she wants to continue to see herself as a good person.
She has two choices:
1) To be an abuser herself along with government and hurt those not as well off as her and balk or scoff at the idea of higher taxes.
2) To recognize her privilege and submit to greater taxation out of sense of love of others, her duty to society, or something in that vein.
I guess in thinking as I am writing what I am really saying is we should make a person like this woman identify with the abuser, not the abused.
We do that with our questions. We use them to position her as the abusing class.
If she doesn’t want to see herself as part of the abusing group, she has to start to see that there actually is an abusing group and recognize the techniques and motives in their abuse.
Other people, people not well off perhaps, might arguably have more in common with child sex abuse victims and techniques inspired by good therapists might be more helpful with them. It would be more proper and helpful to point out to them that they are the abused.
I guess in further thinking this out it might also be helpful to read up on what techniques good therapists use with abusers, be they sex abusers, verbal abusers, etc., to stop them from abusing. There have to be a few therapists, perhaps those who are inspired by their Christianity and use that in therapy, who have had some bit of success.
Hmm. We need more psychologists on this thread to add to our expertise base.
Anybody know any good psychologists who are red-pilled and can recruit them?
I know there are actually a few therapists on FR at large because I once posted something about therapy in the age of the ‘rona and asked how therapists can make the normal suggestions therapists would make to people about getting out and joining groups when everyone is on lockdown and got replies from people who said they were therapists.
