Well, I can’t say beyond my own experience, but I gave blood two weeks ago in Los Angeles, and all they asked was which vaccine I had taken.

I left down a pint.

It’s true though that since I have not yet contracted the kung flu, I can’t donate any convalescent plasma. But whole blood? That’s just fine. They are happy to have it as always.

What a coincidence - that is *exactly* what it says on the redcross website, but then again some guy on the internet says you can’t give blood, so you must be lying </sarc>

I give both (well, not at the same time).

They need blood more now than convalescent plasma, but we will see what they say next week.
