The combined population of these 4 countries is 25 times the population of Israel. But if you want to ignore 96% of the data and look at 4%, fine.

btw, I mostly care about what’s happening in my little neck of the woods. County of 24,000 with 43 deaths “attributed to covid” in 19 months. Mainly the same people who would have died from the flu, 80+ with 2-3 comorbidities, 1/3 of them in nursing homes and the rest probably just couldn’t afford to be in one.

Since January... because of natural immunity, not the vax — at least in the US

Fair enough, but your data - showing deaths only - was also somewhat selective. The UK and Spain had a huge surge in cases this summer, although Spain's spike seems to have peaked. France also had a significant spike, but not as bad as the UK and Spain. Italy had a much smaller spike, but they still had more cases than they did in the Spring of 2020.

What interests me as much as vaccination rates is the treatment protocols that are used in different countries, and the effect they have on bringing down mortality. That is a part of the equation that doesn't get enough attention amid all the controversy over the vaccines.

This is not the correct measurement. January is not relevant. Delta is different virus. The only measurement that matters is how did the vaccines do PRE Delta vs how are the vaccines doing DURING Delta.

As they fail, that’s where we will see it.
