A Republican congressman who has proposed a bill to block federal funding of the U.S. military vaccine mandate hosted a conference call with troops who warn the mandate could harm military readiness.
The service members say many of their colleagues feel the same way but are not speaking out because of the possible consequences, Breitbart News reported.
Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., has introduced HR 3860, which would prohibit "any requirement that a member of the Armed Forces receive a vaccination against COVID-19."
An Air Force member said there is "a lot of pressure from our commanders ... and they tell you these sob stories to heavily persuade you, and it's borderline harassment."
"It makes you wonder, well I joined to change my life and they're all about inclusion and diversity but I have to restart just because of the shot," he said.
He plans to leave the Air Force if he doesn't get an exemption.
"I'm not getting that shot," he said.
Another active Air Force member said he could receive a dishonorable discharge for refusing to be vaccinated.
"That's basically putting us in the same category as rapists and killers, which I think that's insane," he said.

I think smaller companies won’t care about a DD for vax refusal.
If they are going to force them out they should get a General Discharge under Honorable conditions or a Medical.
They have committed no crime.
.
Back in my day our division had enough of the annual CFC and Navy Relief fund drives. It wasn’t a coordinated response but we had about a 10% contribution rate. So they gathered us all in a room and had the XO and CMC try to guilt trip and harass us in to contributing. The day before a port call. The message was clear yet we still never broke 50%.
Point is crap like this isn’t new. It’s been happening for decades and no one ever gets called on it.
Agreed.
I remember when they were required to get the Anthrax vaccination. Not much publicity about it but there was a lot of grumbling - whether or not it amounted to anything, I don’t know. It had to be after 9/11 when packages were being received at various government offices with what was SAID to be anthrax...
Agreed as well. I’m against the vaccine for my own reasons however I remember my time in and they shot more into me than I can remember. This is no different; only that it’s been made a political cudgel. If it weren’t for that it’d be just another shot along with the dozens received. I might also add I rarely if ever get sick. My ex thinks they shot me up with impenetrable stuff during my time in the Corps lol.
I remember those days too and it’s been over 50 years. LOL! Started in boot with US Savings Bond push. In my career after the Navy, it was always united way. Never did.
Anthrax was late 90s after desert storm. We sent more than a few to Mast for refusing.
Please watch this heartbreaking and infuriating “compare and contrast” Covid side effect video.
I recommend sharing this one around with as many .mil as possible.

In many units, the corpsman would ask if you really wanted the Anthrax jab, and if you nodded “no,” they “injected” it into the shit can.
My son is an Army JAG officer (Maj). Troops inprocess get vaccines. If they don’t want to take this one, tough, it has been ruled a lawful order. As you read this, some are being prosecuted under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
Yeah, I saw that already.
I’m never going to get the “vax”, and I have been that way for a long time.
I don’t get the flu shot either.
I do this weird thing called taking excellent care of myself…
I would take the DD with pride.
He called his mother the day after the attack to let her know hes ok. He joked that his life was literally saved by not being vaccinated.
Praise God, he answered the prayers of our little church!
And yet the “leadership” skates around article 133 with ease.
No doubt the tally-whacker-bahn will ensure all the folks in A-stan get vaxxed so they can travel about. So, will your friends nephew get the shot as mandated by lloyd “leave ‘em behind” austin?
I’m a small company.
I’d see it as a resume enhancement.
I’d hire them
