Back during the Bush/Gore “chad” fiasco our local weather man who had been the weather man for years joined us all at a rally against Gore. He got fired for being a part of that.

Was it because he had some sort of celebrity status? As long as it’s in someone’s contract then I guess that is fair. But if they are not warned beforehand it isn’t.

Locals are telling me that this summer is unusual, but still we found it nothing compared to summer in the desert. But it is cooling off at night more and I am enjoying that!
