(Some of our time was at 8500 feet, but haven't owned anything but 4WD vehicles running snow tires year round for....sheesh....goin' on 60 years now)

We don’t have severe winters anything like Montana though.
But sometimes it gets real interesting.
Just a few years ago we had a pretty mild winter looked like we were headed into an early summer when around the 1st of May it started snowing, got almost 4 feet.

Went up to SIL summer home a few years ago, over 10,000 feet, had to come down the mountain in the middle of the night.

I agree with you, women have more opportunities today then they ever had before.
Even thinking of drafting them into the military, which I disagree with, but MORE fairness and opportunity I guess.
