Ventilation involves Gas Exchange at the Alveolar level. The level of Carbon Dioxide is of critical importance. Forty ( H2O) is considered as ‘normal’ but it can range from 35-45 provided that the Ph is maintained at 7.40 (range 7.35-7.45.) Once the Ph gets out of those ranges serious medical issues can occur, including Acidosis (Ph <7.35) or Alkalosis (Ph. >7.45) there are various issues which can effect these numbers in individuals.

There are many people who can have extraordinary high levels of PACO2 (alveoli Pressure) vs. PaCO2 (arterial pressure.) If the Ph is maintained then survival is probable and likely to last for a good duration.

If a Person's CO2 gets very far out of normal, then the Ph is impacted, and death will ensue. There is no amount of Oxygen which can make that change. CO2 must be ventilated. Oxygenation is subordinate to that.

I am not certain that this will come across as sensible, but I am fighting my spell check while typing in this tiny box.

I don't know if you saw this Romanian broncho-pneumologist's protocol when it was posted earlier this year. It seems to me that you both are on the same page, this can't be a big secret, why isn't more being done? Or is that just a rhetorical questions, like so many with this virus.

Romanian Doctor says she cures '100 percent' of COVID patients

I would interested in your comments.
