Easy way to know your Melatonin level is down. Take flush Niacin if you flush you’re melatonin is low. I eat a small bag of pistachios and I didn’t flush.


I’m not crazy about the flush - I’ve fortunately never had hot flashes, but I imagine it must be something like what the niacin flush feels like. And 500 to 1500 mg seems like an excessive megadose. I flush from much less, and I eat pistachios almost every day... it’s a staple around here. Not crazy about taking melatonin, either, as I’m always looking for supplements that increase mental sharpness and energy levels, not diminish them. I have no difficulty whatsoever in sleeping.

Still, I’m interested in reading about this and learning how it all works together.

Here’s a note I got from Dr. Katz on NIATONIN. Bear with him, I don’t think English is his first language. Melatonin is NOT about sleep although that’s how it’s marketed.

Over the life course the lack of nutrients but especially melatonin and niacin that can’t counter with the progression of life course bad health behaviors new exposures like electronics and geothermal shifts etc stressful life and poorer quality food these days ... so our continued dynamic deficiency in especially niatonin leads to accumulation of more energy not expended out per in and so free radical electrons formation and inflammation accumulation

It’s literally like the virus and covid pathogenesis just slower

These viruses or their gain of function research - whatever you want to imagine it is - have evolved since SARS-1 in 2000 to target these energy receptors aka ACE2 aka what niacin and melatonin regulate

It’s feasting grounds for them

They’re thermodynamically attracted to people who have more inflammation for them to use for their fitness ... and so these high expressed ACE2 aka niacin receptor along with the SRB1 aka CD36 coreceptor right next to it - they sneak in this ... the srb1 is where HDL dumps off cholesterol from blood into tissue to prevent atherosclerosis.. because the cholesterol was leaking out of the tissue after it reached threshold to not contain it anymore too much pressure ... and so HDL lowers because it’s not getting developed in liver antmore and has to attend to scooping more cholesterol back into tissue ... and is used up real quick ...

And so the virus then gets in cells and literally as it continues to consume your energy until it reaches threshold it needs of energy to double, and as it does this - it depletes melatonin (makes it a lot easier also if you have deficient melatonin which you see now why unhealthy and older people who’ve had not enough melatonin and niacin as most at risk + low HDL/high TG) defacto and makes the already stunted from the inflammation accumulated over life course PDC receptor from pyruvate to acetylCoA more stunted (and so melatonin gets gradually even more depleted into say long haul)... and as soon as it meets threshold, it moves out the mitochondria, and on to the next one like a bad x girlfriend ... repeat forward

And this is why long haulers flush like crazy with even 50 mg doses of niacin

As the virus leaves each cell, it and all the crazy inflammation it hypered leaves melatonin depleted and stunts further the PDC from pyruvate to acetylCoA, which is needed for AAANAT receptor from tryptophan to serotonin to melatonin stunted too and so melatonin isn’t made more and more

And this leaves ACE2 downregulated.
This happens especially in the intestines / colon

This is how the virus/spikes - like IVM gains easy access to your brain / nervous system then - your gut becomes leaky with this ravaging of melatonin and inflammation ... and so this gives easy access through vague nerve to cross into BBB and nervous systems where the most bang for the buck energy is for them

Basically the virus / spikes have to deplete your already deficient melatonin and niacin to succeed

To even be thermodynamically attracted in the first place

So keeping niatonin sufficient / repleting it - takes back control of YOUR energy metabolism - that the spikes try to take over for their food

It doesn’t just push out inflammation

But it allows T cells differentiation (melatonin through ACE2 aka GPR109A expression) and then niacin comes in which is literally innate / mandatory / function of then recruitment and facilitation of T cells, killer cells, B cells, and induces phagocytosis, denatures, kills, clears virus all pathogens all toxins.
