I’ll be making a couple long posts today, sorry if I’m clogging the thread, but I feel like y’all are family on this thread.
Yesterday I had an interesting ivermectin experience.
My local rural feed store is out of the ivermectin I like to use to deworm my dogs, the 1% sterile Injectable ivermectin for swine and cattle. I give it to the dogs orally.
Also, this is the type I like to personally take (orally) as a preventative. It is also the type I personally watched cure a nasty case of Covid, literally worked within 45 minutes, and I would not have believed it without seeing it. It works. Well.
So the dude at my feed store is the one who told me how to use it on my dogs, and he said people are taking it for Covid, his supplier is out, and he doesn’t know when he’ll get more.
Well, I found some in stock online at a local Rural King store. I purchased 2 bottles online for “in store pickup”. When I got to the store, they had not yet filled my online purchase, but said I could go find it on the shelf and they’d do the paperwork.
So I get to the deworming section of the store, but I couldn’t find the 1% injectable solution anywhere. Then a farmy-looking lady with few teeth came out of the back (employees only) part of the store and asked if she could help me find anything.
I told her of my online purchase, but I couldn’t find it on the shelf. She asked what it was, I said 1% ivermectin injectable solution for swine and cattle. She said, oh honey I don’t have any. I said what the heck? Your website said it was in stock and allowed me to buy two bottles. She said I don’t know, but I’m completely out of it.
Then she said, in a condescending tone, “do you really have animals?” Irate, I said of course I have animals and I use this solution on my dogs, and the skeeters are so bad this year, I’m sure they’ll get heart worms if I can’t find any ivermectin, but my feed store is out, and people are buying it up to treat Covid, and my poor animals are going without”.
She smiled, mostly gums, and softly said, ”oh honey I see in your eyes you really do have animals. I have some in the back, come here.” She handed me 2 bottles.
“People have been buying this to treat themselves for Covid”, she said. “Are they really that stupid? This stuff will kill you”. I then walked to the front of the store with her, both of us lamenting the fact that animals were being denied medicine because crazy people were buying it for Covid.
It’s getting crazy out there. Another long post coming shortly. Very sad. My good friend and neighbor lost his mom last night. She was 59. The hospital killed her. Tragic, sad, and evil.

I am curious though.. how much do your dogs weigh, how much do you give them? (oh what kind of dogs, purebreds or mixes?)
And just to play devil’s advocate lol, why not use Revolution topical on your dogs?? Heh heh.

I realize that it is personal but I have an interest in just how people are perceiving the care that is being dispensed in hospitals.
The liberals are probably stockpiling ivermectin for themselves, even as they ridicule us.
