Sorry for the vanity. I've seen at least three accounts spamming the forum as if they were automated, very fast.
Thanks for the info about the server relocated to Dallas. I made numerous trips to Plano and Richardson through the 80's and 90's. I used to work at the Verizon Business (legacy MCI) Data Center in Atlanta at 450 Interstate N Pkwy, Atlanta, GA that was sold to Equinox a few years ago. That is in addition to several other locations in the Atlanta area including the Regional Junction and other terminals and wire centers. I have been retired for six and a half years and only revisit those times in my dreams and nightmares.
No problem...I missed the SPAM posts, was just pointing out the “easiest” M.O. for obtaining a weak password (”offline” PW cracker SW). Your guess was as good as mine. ;-) Yeah, I retired from a local NBC affilliate TV station after 27 years and the last 6 years were as “1 man IT director” for 110 employees with PC’s and 6 servers for the electronic newsroom, elections server and the email server....was the reason I left “early” for another job!! ;-)
Yep, I referred the sales/marketing staff with “fix my stuff” Q’s to the “maintenance engineers”...they handled the transmitter, microwave, and TV camera stuff. They didn’t appreciate it, but there were 4 of them and only 1 of me!
Your trips to Texas from ATL would have been fewer these days probably...”remote desktop management”/VPN...would only have to go for hardware repairs I guess. John R./Jim R./FR HQ still in the Fresno area, but Linode takes care of hardware virtual server issues and John R. “remote manages” FR from home I guess. No more “hardware down” trips up I-5 to the San Jose data center.
Its not Hunter, its the CCP.
The problem with “security training” is that it is so boring that most employees forget it the day after they got it.
It would be a lot more effective to do the fake email (as your company did) and then have a little one on one in private if the employee got suckered by it.
Think the security guy in “The Firm”. :-)

Why the question? I have not seen any thing to suggest your question.
It has been cleaned up. Last night was a mess.
Well it did break the monotony, that’s for sure.
Sums up a day at my job.
Did you mean “glitchy?” Words convey meaning, asshat.
Glizzy was used as the author's name during the attack.
Also it was used prominently in the spam posts.
Asshat.
Words mean things, but crapweasels that don't know what they are talking about do not.
What's the matter, spunky?
Is "I wasn't there and didn't see it" too hard for you to admit?
Now who's the asshat?
Go back to your pre-school and call names there.
Doesn't seem to be working so well for you here.
You should have been here last night. What a mess.
My PW was changed.
I’d suggest entering the link of Google and see where it goes.
Not hiding. Found a better forum. Added bonus; no sign of your presence.
How great for you, a year later.
You be of good cheer and mind the teachers, OK?
