Typical twitter, only showing stupid liberal responses.

Most of Trump's most ardent supporters on twitter have been banned, including myself.

“Just realize we were all wrong”

Not me I was against both Bush wars and was banned from here for saying so.

The Middle East is in Asia. Unless you count Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria, which many do. Technically, those countries are in Africa. Most Americans equate the Middle East to the Islamic arid countries.

The fact that your clinging to a failed dogma based on total ignorance of how the world actually works for 30 years instead of learning a single thing is exactly the same problem you all are complaining about here

Joe Biden, and others would like to blame President Trump for Afghanistan, but I haven’t heard any of the media, or politicians report that it was the Obama Administration that first started having secret meetings with the Taliban in Germany as far back as 2011. Would love to have been a fly on the wall during those meetings.

I agree 100%!

A logical and reasonable person will change their mind in the face of solid and genuine evidence. Unfortunately many people, due to pride, will often double down on their original flawed thought/opinion rather than admit they were wrong.

Although a statement with no viable opposition.

Exactly.

I would respect Bush much more if he came forward and apologized for his Administration.

Notice he and the others like Cheney do not.

I wonder if W. will admit it on his death bed ?

Obama also very (unusually) quiet, particularly on this subject when he was in office for the proceeding 8 YEARS.

Did most of us know of GWB true intentions?

I supported going in and eliminating all enemy personnel and removing Taliban and A.Q. leadership ASAP. I along with probably most Americans had zero delusions of nation building that place. Especially, based on GWB statements on nation-building during his presidential run. Boy didn’t he “change his tune” on that one.

No matter who owns the oil, including the Ruskies or Al Qaeda, they will all sell oil for money. Can’t drink that stuff.

Best strategy is to produce enough indigenous energy to avoid blackmail and embargo problems. And keep buying cheap oil from anywhere.

As if China will listen and obey to our requests. China will do what benefits China and are buying assets all over the world with foreign exchange from their trade surplus.

"Just realize we were all wrong and commence to chowing down crow."

We were wrong. We were reacting to 9/11 with emotion, and not common sense...not thinking long-term. We wanted instant gratification, that those who planned and committed the atrocities of 9/11, would immediately have the wrath of God poured down on them. My mantra back then was: "I'd rather we fight them over there, then fight them in the streets here." Now it's the commies we're fighting, and we're fighting for the preservation of our Republic. Looking back, we probably would have been better off keeping our troops home to fight the lefties, and the terrorists on our own turf.

It's hard to believe that 20 years has already gone by. After a while, it was like we were all disconnected from what was going on over there. It took the stealing of the 2020 election, and the incompetence it ushered in, to bring it all back. Here we are 20 years after 9/11, and the lives of American citizens are once again in jeopardy both here at home, and abroad. This country is f*cked up more today, than it was in 2001. Pretty sad.

I remember George W. talking about Saddam Hussein before the invasion of Iraq.

W said, “He tried to kill my daddy.”

Good God.

If you want to go down that route, W, so did the Japanese during World War II.

We all know what high degree of accuracy is the standard on FR. Just asking and always appreciated when I’m aligned more closely to accuracy by my peers.

“Did he dismantle all military bases from middle-east? Not that I am aware of”

No. But then we had no military bases in the middle east when Reagan was President.
