I might add that seventy years later, I still have pains in my side from abdominal adhesions, (although they were operated on several years later} that make me think of that damned doctor. On the other hand, I am very grateful for the surgeon who was brought in by the hospital, and the hospital, who saved my life.
I hate that you are still dealing the scars of that. So glad the other doc got involved.
I’ve had my share with loved ones who had doctors that didn’t listen. One nearly cost my mom her life, and another caused my son to have to have a surgery he wouldn’t have needed had he listened to us years earlier.
Some of them act omniscient, but they are human just like the rest of us and could use a good dose of humility.
