Well, i don’t know everything. But i know this vax situation of which you speak is a SYMPTOM of a larger issue in your life and the relationship.

Seriously, I remember going to the doctor at 17 when I was sick, and him throwing a bunch of pills at me and sending me on my way. And I took them, and even thought they would make me better as I did because he was a doctor.
I was just stupid, and had no idea how things worked, or that the doctor didn’t really pay attention unless it looked like you were dying. Your husband is where I was. I don’t know if it is indicative of him being an asshole. He probably just hasn’t seen what he needs to see to realize the truth.
And I know it is irritating he wants to control the path when he is totally ignorant, but that is the thing about being totally ignorant - you don’t know you are totally ignorant.
Here is the thing - we are all probably ignorant about something. Until a few years ago, I had no idea every neighborhood had a covert government observation post set up in it made up to look like one of the houses, often wired into the telephone poles, where surveillance tech was mounted and plugged into the Cable internet network. I had no idea the people in the observation post, despite looking like normal neighbors, were assigned to “get to know” everyone in the neighborhood using all the shit people think is just theoretical, like microphones in TV’s and computers, and hacking into smart devices, and so on. All that theoretical tech is operational, and being used in the most personal way imaginable on a localized scale nobody would believe. Hell, I have seen firsthand the agents of this organization use kids to spy on kids in the local schools, beginning their files as early as possible.
As an example, I would bet your argument with your husband has been noted by your neighborhood watcher, in your file, even if you had it in an interior room of your house. Hell, I bet you still think somebody has to enter your house to plant a bug to eavesdrop, despite constructive wave interference/triangulation through geophones making that obsolete decades ago.
You’ve got enemies. We all do in this nation, whether we know it or not. But your husband just sounds ignorant of how bad it is.
If you want to screw with his head and break the programming, go to the page below, and see if you can spot your own vehicular surveillance patrolling around your town. Then see if you can show your husband that, and shock him into realizing just how bad it is in this nation. If he realizes the extent of the surveillance targeting everyone, maybe he will begin to realize he can’t trust anything.

I see; the problem is you want him to drive you to GA. It’s only a 14-hour drive to Ft. Benning from eastern Pennsylvania. I’m a woman, and I made it many times from there to there.
Then again, I was in my 20s. So get your car all checked over first, and prepare to stay over one night in VA or NC if needed. Research the lodgings’ requirements online. There are Holiday Inns and similar chain motels all along I-95, if that is your route.

Sounds to me like there are many other underlying issues in your marriage. Otherwise the vaccine disagreement wouldn’t have led to such an extreme response. Maybe the vaccine thing is just the topper that will cause you to make a decision. I’d suggest looking at the marriage as a whole, not just about whether or not to take the vaccine. He sounds like he is controlling, and maybe has been controlling the whole time?

Scarpetta, be sure to wish your husband a nice flight as you confidently pull out to the driveway, and tell him you'll keep in touch throughout your drive. Be sure to do so politely and lovingly ... no reason not to.
