I pursued my passion for music from age 9, and was fortunate to earn a living at it for almost 45 years. I’d hoped to keep on going as long as I could, like a friend and former colleague who’s managed to do so into her 80s. But thanks to all this Coof BS, work has all but evaporated. And if my favorite gig of many decades should require poison jabs and/or masks (which remains to be seen), it will have to be parting time, and retirement at only 67, which I’ll hate.

Meanwhile, with my husband’s retirement, it seems I’m busier than ever, as the ‘honey do list’ around here never ends. Just not the things I would prefer to do. “Living the dream” will have to wait until the Lord takes us Home!
