I learned a long time ago that it is less about our choices than it is understanding the consequence of our choices. It matters not if we agree with known or perceived consequence, just that we can accept it.
This is what I find fascinating about free will and freedom in general. When we choose true freedom, we often choose jail as a consequence of putting freedom in practice.
We can choose Satan and spend eternity in hell or we can choose Jesus and spend eternity in heaven.
Each of us needs to weigh the consequence of our actions and be ready to defend them.
My employer says one of our major clients wants his employees to take the jab. If he chooses to comply with tyranny and expects to extend it to me, he is sadly mistaken. My choice is, I will lose my job.
It is not “fair” but I accept the consequence.
I wonder if my employer has thought about the consequence of profit over freedom?
