Has anyone had any experience taking a meme, “blowing it up” to fit on a standard piece of multipurpose printer/copier paper to basically fill the 8 by 11 inch piece, and then taking that to a standard print shop and having it blown up to poster size?

Print shops are digital now, so you just email them the meme or a link to it, and they'll print it any size you want. Resolution/pixel size may still be a problem when they blow it up, but perhaps their interpolation/smoothing tools will help with that.

Hmm. I guess this would work with an independent print shop owned by a patriot.

I’m thinking a place like Office Max might come up with an excuse of some sort not to print the meme.

Once upon a time, I do believe, one could got to a FedEx Kinkos and put their paper through a machine and make their own poster and either pay for it at the counter after it is done and when the clerk has gotten enough of a glance at it to know what to charge based on paper quality and color versus black and white or a person could use a reloadable copy card and thus not really interact with a clerk at all.
