Sounds like she had a fun life No. It was not fun. I was in that era and knew many people like her. For those dumb enough to subscribe to that lifestyle (sex, drugs and rock and roll) it was a degrading, dehumanizing and miserable time.
She was a whore. Nothing "fun" about that.

I read her bio and found nothing to suggest she lived the wretched life you describe. She was apparently a substitute teacher in the Little Rock public school system for 14 years - which really surprised me.
Apparently she willingly chose her "sex, drugs and rock and roll" lifestyle and only she can answer whether it was all worth it or not. Men who choose that lifestyle tend not to be as harshly judged. But in order for men to have that lifestyle, you must also have willing women.
