Bro, all due respect - and I’m being serious:
The virus free world you think is coming is a fairy tale.
There is a power play that we’re smack dab in the middle of.
And if what you state is even remotely true, then why the sudden resurgence in Israel which is perhaps the most vaxxed nation on earth?
I didn’t say there would be a virus-free world. There won’t be.
I hate to see anti-vaxxers trying to dissuade people from what I see as the right thing to do, but that pales in comparison to their wish to deny the rights of the vaccinated to gather in a relatively virus-free space in a privately owned establishment.
Seems like they want us to take the risk—which we were informed about and understood—and then reap the rewards of our efforts without taking any risk themselves.
Forgot to mention Israel, which you asked about in your post:
As I said elsewhere about two days ago, the numbers in Israel show breathrough for several reasons: starting early, starting with the oldest Israelis, using the best vaccine but they all start to lose effectiveness, everyone now agrees, the statistical quirk that I first read in the Times about the PERCENTAGE of breakthrough cases automatically increasing mathematically as the number of the unvaccinated decreases, and very probably the increased social interaction that came as a big relief but with the danger of infection.
There might be more reasons.
As I’m sure you know, Israel has started giving out boosters already. They do the right thing for their people and should be commended for it, instead of people seizing the negative and trying to make a case for their point of view.
