The dude was probably vaxed or had other health issues. I, my wife and 5 kids had it, nothing deadly in any way. Mild influenza, but the fear porn for vaccines is alive and well. The vaxed seem to be having issues with the original virus or the variants, I’ll watch.
I suspect a lot more is going on with the dude’s health than what is stated.
A lib friend of mine who is vaxed can’t wait for her booster in the fall. She sounded sick as a dog on the phone this past week when I talked to her. Not saying it’s connected, but she was all up in arms about me not getting the shot but I’ve had the ‘rona twice and it felt like a mild hangover both times.
