You are incorrect. Not anymore. The original was 65 years alone qualified you. Or over 18 with any of a number of comorbidities.
So I am sorry but you are just plain wrong. I can get monoclonals where I am in the southeast for just about anyone and in Florida it is even easier thanks to DeSantis.
One of the things I am seeing is primary docs not taking the time to learn or understand. It should be far more standardized than it is.
I should have said over 65 OR with significant health factors.
Here is the criteria - it is the same for my doctor and every infusion center near me in Georgia, I know because I checked their websites.
You have to have at least one of these conditions:
Over 65
BMI > 35
Diabetes
Weakened immune system (HIV, AIDS, RA, Lupus, asthma)
Receiving immunosuppressive treatment
55 or older with cardiovascular disease, hypertension, or COPD
