Begin the sanguine?
We should start now in pressing forward that Harris is NOT Constitutionally elected to the Vice-presidency.
Did certain amendments \actually\ change the way the VP was...
>>>VOTED<<<
into office?
Under the original Constitution, the VP was was the second highest “vote getter” such that the “will of the people” would be continued.
Harris was not “elevated” to VP in this manner.
‘In toto’...is Harris actually in line to inherit the POTUS?
Regardless of her “citizenship”, I would argue AGAINST the modern interpretation of secession.
Ultimately, the second highest “vote getter” is Donald Trump who is next in line.
Capice?

That arrangement fell apart almost immediately following Washington’s second term so the Constitution was amended and gave birth to the “presidential ticket” we have today.
I believe the vice president, due to being the successor to the president in case of death or removal from office, must be eligible to be president. If such a person is not eligible to be president, then he or she is not eligible to be vice president.
But that was back when we were a nation of laws. Kamala being VP is a de facto statement on her eligibility. I don’t think we’re going to have an easy time of it.
