Very likely. IIRC, there were hospitals on the brink of financial catastrophe due to no revenue from the usual book of business. And Doctors and Nurses were either working covid or ER or were basically on lay off or something.

Our local health center is quite dependent on their dental unit for operating revenue—but the dental unit was on lockdown — big salaries and no income generating activity.

I hope they followed the advice I gave the CEO years ago, and had insurance to cover business interruptions.
