I loved learning the French language in HS and College. Even all these years later I remember some of it.
I seem to mostly say “Et Voila!” with the Et attached,which means “and”(and there it is, and look at that, and there you see it, and look)
I just looked up a detailed explanation of it:
Voila is a contraction of “vois (look/see) and “la” (this/that) , meaning “see there!” (or see that).
“Merde alors!” is another goodie....”oh sh*t”, which is probably what Macron said when that farmer sprayed that building with bull puckey.
Merde alors (pronounced mare-d ah-lore,,, the “s” is usually silent)
