Q is the result of the sacrifices and commitment of countless patriots to win back our captured country from the Deep State and achieve the transformation President Trump promised in this campaign video. President Trump has said the awakening of the public is key to this transformation.
Q describes this awakening as follows:

"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.
The choice is yours, and yours alone.
Trust and put faith in yourself.

As not even the Afghan Taliban "government" can hold back the religious fervor of their zealots, it is only a matter of logic that some number of Americans have already suffered death at those zealots' hands. We will likely never see such Americans again, nor hear or read accounts of their individual deaths at the known head-choppers' hands.
As a matter of optimized logistics and economy for Taliban hostage takers, the American populace is likely to be presented with a only small subset of live Americans for whom we will be likely be "allowed" to pay a demanded ransom. (The Taliban have plenty of backhoes, many for which the American taxpayer paid.)
Will a demented, barely thoughtful, TelePrompTer-reading Dem Preezy be made to suffer impeachment for his deadly neglect during a war that almost certainly will have directly resulted in the deaths of hundreds if not thousands of Americans?
