I went to get my Covid test today, two nurses said they wouldn’t take the vax…..I tested positive. I asked the young “ doctor” if he would give me Ivermectin, he said their medical group does not give out experimental drugs…..I then asked him WHY ARE THEY GIVING EXPERIMENTAL Vaccines?
Oh, that is classic !! But actually Ivermectin is not experimental - it is an FDA approved drug with a good safety profile. It is approved for certain conditions, just not approved/tested for COVID. Doctors daily use medications for conditions other than for which the FDA originally granted “approval.” Propranolol was never “approved” for essential tremor nor performance anxiety but is frequently prescribed for that purpose. There just isn’t a political correctness associated with those conditions. Had Trump not mentioned hydroxychloquine and ivermectin as possible agents for treatment we would not be seeing the politicos in the medical establishment and medical boards fighting such use but likely facilitating research and studies to find out if they might be helpful. Doctors have been using Hydroxychloroquine for years primary for rheumatologist conditions and are very familiar with the limited side-effects and need to monitor it’s use but suddenly they’d have you believe if you prescribe it for COVID you may as well sign the patient’s death certificate and your agreement with the state to terminate your license!! When politics interferes with science this is what we get !!
