I always expected him to go into semi-retirement, but he would always provide his wit and we would be able to tune in and get the “rest of the story.” After almost 33 years, I had to pop for an fm receiver in my car.

Dittos to all who miss him so much. Especially in the Trump era, he had such a unique & insightful perspective & communicated it so well with that golden voice. How many times did I think Trump had messed up irreparably until I heard Rush’s take on it.

A few days after he died I was driving & had Hannity on & he was giving his analysis of some issue & I had the thought “yeah, yeah, but what does Rush think?” - devastating to realize I won’t know again in this life.

Amen, sister. He was more like a big brother to me, although he was only about a month older. I miss him and my brother - both died from lung cancer. Way too young.

Rather, I am getting my daily dose of FR for info. And sometimes THAT’S depressing.

IFR is almost always depressing since it’s been infested by defeatist despair trolls. Where did they all come from? It’s like someone left the door open and a thousand annoying flies came in here. Rush was always full of hope no matter how bad things seemed. At least he has been spared seeing what a bunch of quivering surrender-monkeys “Conservatives” have become. It makes me sick.

Radio isn’t the king it was 10 or 20 years ago.
Personally, I like Steve Bannon - good guests, good info.

The big problem with Buck and Clay is that they talk over each other. I’m used to Rush’s show where he was the only one doing the talking.

Yeah, that's one thing I have to get used to, sometimes one talks and "walks over" the other. What I miss there and in the later years of Rush is when he played songs for the various updates. A prefect one for the fiasco in Afghanistan would be White Snake's "Here We Go Again."
