I was told by a very wise man to “always have an alternate name to give. One that is untraceable or difficult to ‘pin-down’.”
I took that one step further and I have several.
One is my FR handle but that is too obvious.
Another is Rusty Shackleford (used in TX/NM/OK)
My most serious is “Arleigh Chavendart”, taken from a mash up of local radio hosts names.
