I’m sure Newsweek mentioned the hospital being flooded with illegals who were allowed, encouraged to come, by traitor Biden and brought with them China’s Wuhan flu.

If there was a medical reason for waiting … like waiting for his vitals to stabilize.

Ben Taub Hospital's Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is operating at 98 percent capacity, according to a spokesperson for the Harris Health System, while 33 percent of those patients have conditions related to COVID-19.

====================

Headline's a tad misleading.....only 33% of ICU patients are there because of covid.

Perhaps, there are other issues overwhelming the system besides covid.

Notice that the biden administration has no culpability in any of this. Despite what is going on at the boarder. Where are the ramped-up efforts to build temporary hospitals or right to try different treatments? Remember everything was Trump’s fault, the ventilator shortage, the spreading virus and the lack of hospital capacity. Trump closed the boarder, fixed the ventilator shortage, built temporary hospitals and moved hospital ships to where they were needed. But still Trump was not doing enough. The “I have a plan” biden has done nothing but force the vaccines, that were developed under Trump, on people. He’s done absolutely nothing else. Yet he is not responsible for anything, it’s all the republican governors fault now. It really saddens me how stupid Americans are.

He was shot by a stranger last Saturday morning while leaving a Kroger on the 9100 block of the city’s W. Sam Houston Parkway.

Police have arrested a suspect and charged him with shooting Valdez earlier this week.

“Having broken bones and bullets in me for over a week now, it’s a little frustrating,” Valdez said.

Yeah. I’ll bet Rasputin. Who shoots a guy 6x in a Kroger parking lot for no reason?

This is a strange story.

Considering that Ben Taub, the main county hospital, is in the middle of the largest medical center on planet Earth, I should think yes. Memorial Hermann is literally right next door, and there are 15 other hospitals within a few blocks.

But those hospitals aren’t free for someone with a county “gold card.”

And, no, the ICUs are not at 100% capacity. Whatever the reason this guy isn’t in surgery, it isn’t covid.

“...while 33 percent of those patients have conditions related to COVID-19.”

Which means 67% if them do NOT have conditions “related to covid”

And what exactly does “conditions related to covid” mean? I want to know because if these people have existing health problems then it is difficult if not impossible to prove the virus is responsible for their hospitalization.

County hospital and free health care maybe? You don’t really expect anyone to have to pay for medical service unless they’re anglos, right?

This article is stupid. Houston hospitals are typically full.

Here’s a study from 2017.
“Occupancy was highest in Surgical ICUs (79%), ICUs in federal hospitals (80%), and ICUs of hospitals with 301–750 beds (77%). An analysis of ICUs participating in Project Impact (2005–2007) studied occupancy as a continuous time variable (mean hourly occupancy 68.2%), and by ICU size (higher in ICUs with fewer beds) and hospital type (higher in academic hospitals) (24). A second study also using Project”

No, All of the hospitals are full. They are canceling elective surgery unless it’s same day surgery. Hip and knee replacements are on the back burner.
