Mask-up rules went into effect end of July, and I went into the factory only half days; other half was work-at-home.
I was fixin to retire end of January; I put in paperwork early August, gave notice end of Oct, and took my 4 weeks accrued leave in December, so only had to put up with the face-diaper nonsense Aug, Sept, Oct, Nov, and Jan.
Given the half-days masked, it amounted to 10 weeks or 400 hours time.
I wasn’t going to jeopardize $2900 a month pension and s year’s medical coverage till Medicare over a stupid mask.
I wore it so there was a big gap between it and the rest of my face, which let in fresh air; gap wasn’t noticeable to anyone.
