Institutions that we formerly respected and trusted are destroying their credibility at a pace that is accelerating. That's bad for democracy.
As we grow up, age and mature, we come to think that there are some that we can count on to call it straight. We can count on umpires to be neutral arbitrators of the strike zone. We thought we could rely on the Supreme Court to judge all laws, all ideas, all thoughts, all regulations, and all speech according to the U.S. Constitution. We thought scientists would pursue the truth.
I don't think we were being Pollyannaish, nor looking for rainbows, not ever acting as if we live in Mayberry. But at a certain age, we came to expect and appreciate certain political bodies, certain government agencies, and specific non-profits to judge all and everything according to the Constitution and rule of law. Even if we did not agree with them on a specific matter; we knew where they were coming from. We thought they would always be pure in their motivation. We thought they came at us straight and true.
But not anymore. Over the last 5 years, and especially the last 18 months it has become clear that many of these people are just dirty political fronts. They're not noble, they're not non-partisan, and they're not nice... at all. These groups that we had held in high esteem because we felt that they would always call it straight, regardless of the politics, have let America down. They have destroyed Americans' sense of fair play and neutrality.

It was supposed to be government by non-partisan experts for the benefit of all. Non-partisan, except of course, they had to be Progressives.
This insanity is now exposed for all to see. Progressives are not non-partisan. They do not govern as experts for the benefit of all. They govern for their own benefit and to accumulate and use power.
Many, if not most Progressives now see the United States as an obstacle to be overcome.
They have always seen the Constitution as an obstacle to be overcome.

RINOs are the reason for the woke clown world we now live in. It was RINO-controlled state legislatures who gave the Steal to Dementia Joe on a platter. All because of their petty hatred of Trump and those of us who voted for him. If these state legislatures had been controlled by conservatives, the cheat-by-mail-in ballots would never have been allowed, or if they had, there would have been a proper audit of them BEFORE electors were seated and the fraud would have been immediately exposed. If everyone in government with an (R) after their name had been a constitutional conservative, Trump would still be president and we would still control the Senate.
Our last chance, if it's not too late, is in the 2022 MidTerms. Vote out every RINO who must face a primary and replace them with the Trump-endorsed challenger. No more squabbling about who is the most conservative challenger once Trump makes an endorsement. Run these RINOs out of the party. Make the RINOs form a new party. Why should we leave?
If the 2020 Steal is not enough to vote out these traitors, then nothing will ever be enough.

If the country is to survive, you will need at least 50% of current Democrats to join the minority of current Republicans who still love the nation - because the majority of the GOP is sunk in treason and hatred of the nation, along with the intellectual leadership of the Democrats, and the actual American majority is divided and fighting amongst ourselves in the "Dems vs GOP" Punch and Judy show.
If you don't grasp what is happening after 50 years of electing Republicans and watching your nation wrecked, I don't know what to tell you.
The real word here is not “Progressive”, but “Regressive” as that better describes the situation. If these so-called “progressives” were really that, we’d be going forward instead of backward as it now exists. President Trump was a a real progressive with respect to how our nation was doing; the exact opposite of what it is now. Where did the idea get started that what is going on now is “progressive”? The word has a completely different meaning. What is going on right now is destroying our nation. How can anyone with even a small spark of honesty & decency call that “Progressive”?
Everything is political. That means, common sense and right and wrong is out the window. The Media Business models point toward woke and political correctness.
