That was flight 11, if you've lost count.
NASA's Mars helicopter Ingenuity on Mars is still going strong, notching its 11th Red Planet flight on Thursday (Aug. 5).
The flight, which saw the little chopper travel 1,250 feet (380 meters), was designed to get Ingenuity to a set location that the helicopter will now make its base for one or more geology reconnaissance flights of South Séítah, a rugged patch of ground on the floor of Mars' Jezero Crater.
According to a flight plan published on Wednesday (Aug. 4), Ingenuity woke up for its sortie at about 12:30 p.m. local time on Mars, which was this morning at 12:47 a.m. EDT (0447 GMT) on Earth, and lifted off three minutes later. The flight was designed to see the helicopter climb to an altitude of 39 feet (12 m) and reach speeds of 11 mph (18 kph).

#MarsHelicopter has safely flown to a new location! Ingenuity flew for 130.9 seconds and traveled about 380 meters before landing at a spot that will set up a series of future reconnaissance flights to help @NASAPersevere in its search for ancient microbial life.

Ingenuity has become a star!!
Ingenuity leads the way
Never doubted you.
“This is your traffic report ‘Eye in the Sky’ for the Thursday afternoon commute. Traffic is generally light along the Jezero Crater Expressway. There’s a minor light-cycle delay near the Bradbury Visitor Center. Winds aloft are light at 15 MPH. Current temps are a balmy -14 F°. Next report in 15.”

That thing is a star. I believe it can claim the first aerodynamic (non-rocket) flights of any kind on another celestrial body.
I stopped seeing pictures. So my interest has faded.
:)
Red sky at night, sailors’ delight.
Red sky at morning, sailors take warning.
“Mars ain’t the kind of place to raise your kids.”
It’s nice to see ingenuity in operation.
I stopped seeing pictures.
Ah, but this is really getting good!
It's "just" a logo, but that's the beauty of it.
It's based on NASA's iconic red worm font. The red worm is a famous worm in the Bible, especially as Christians interpret (substitution). David identified himself with it (Psalm 22).
Nasa is the Hebrew word meaning to lift up.
In the NASA worm font, the scarlet A lacks a crossbar, alluding to a rocket's cone or crew capsule.
But then there's Ingenuity, affectionately named "Ginny", which is typically a nickname for Virginia.
For the Mars2020 mission,
The scarlet letter A was replaced by Ingenuity. Out with the old, in with the new.
This stuff is literal.
No more scarlet letter A! It was replaced by good old-fashioned Yankee Ingenuity.
Now *that's* ingenuity.
Good thing too, because who doesn't remember the band on their famous mission from God.
They were getting stoned by the crowd for singing "Gimme Some Lovin". What's not to love, yet hostilities were on the rise. Quick thinking, ingenuity:
Okay. We gotta figure out something these people like and fast.
Hey I got it. Remember the theme from Rawhide?
The old favorite. Rowdy Yates.
What key?
A. GOOD COUNTRY key.
Rawhide in A!
RAWHIDE
(Secret Service code name)
Ginny is a California girl, from Pasadena.
The Beach Boys knew the good word from way back.
And don't forget the warning from Jan & Dean. (She can't keep her foot off the accelerator.)

I hope this all helps. :)
And for the Jewish FReeps -- Serach the oldest woman in the Bible knew the secret code of Redemption, where to find the bones of Joseph..
How could it be a code if everyone knew the code?
Bank heist, Crapgame, Big Joe, Little Joe...
It's wasn't that the senior officers didn't recognize the names of specific individuals, they were wholly oblivious to the very concept of nicknames. Talk about out of touch with the reality on the ground..
This the Grave Diggers Registration Unit. We got a stake in this advance, too.
From Ingenuity's Hebrew wikipedia page, in the first line:
shem chibah - Ginny [שם חיבה ג'יני]
(name of affection - Ginny)
Or, by making a little room in affection (chibah)...
[שם חי בה ג'יני] shem chai bah, the "Living Name" [is] in her - Ginny.
It truly is the total round-up.
Film at 11.
The Little Drone That Could ...
Ingenuity is a real-time living parable.
NASA keeps searching for life on Mars, even using Ingenuity as recon for Perseverance.
The jokes write themselves.
Not enough popcorn.
Who knew that Mars could provide so much entertainment. :)
The First Flight On Another World Wasn’t on Mars. It Was on Venus, 36 Years Ago
Cool as it is, Ingenuity does not mark the dawn of extraterrestrial aviation.

As I said, Ingenuity marks the first aerodynamic flight on another planet. In other words, a flight in which the lift is generated by atmospheric flow over a wing or propeller.
A ballon flight would be “aerostatic” (analogous to hydrostatic), in which the lift is generated by displacement of a fluid, rather than the flow of a fluid.
