I think one thing this whole Covid thing has done is make people realize they need to choose the Doctors and Hospitals based on not just expertise, experience, and education but also politics.

I found a good Cardiologist at one of the best Cardiac Hospital in Michigan.
I was concerned and standoffish with this new doctor.
As soon as he brought up his lead hunting dog was injured and needed a knee specialist, I was relieved. The Doctor was a Hunter. Pro-2nd Amendment, Dog lover……..since then the doctor patient relationship has been great.
I also gave him the name of the Vet that saw one of my German Shepherds that tore her knee. He took his dog to that Vet.
I think everyone is now choosing or looking for medical experts that match their own convictions nowadays.

I read on here about the AMA poll that said 95% of the doctors had the shot. Well, what they bury is that they only polled 300-something doctors. Another poster added that only about 15% of the doctors in the country are in the AMA, which is a pretty Leftist organization.

Now, at the primary care level, politics are probably very important for both the doctors and us. I would not trust a Woke Md at the primary care level.
My wife worked as the head RN in a busy FP office for about. 3+ decades. The head doctor, she worked for was an old style Democrat. Everyone on both sides of his family went to good colleges, worked, went to church were basically enjoyable people to be around. Their kids worked as teens and are good citizens/parents now. Also, Zero divorces or criminals in their families.
