Thanks, LL - I’m trying to read reviews of them on various sites online. Steering clear of places like “bestVPNfor2021 dot com” and the like, as they are generally not very unbiased or objective.
I’ve been using Nord VPN for 3 years, if that helps with your decision. I should also mention that, on my desktop on which Nord is also installed, I can’t access the local TV listings, probably because that particular web site isn’t accessible from the US where I’m usually seen as being. Again, I log out and log back in. When I’m sending a sharp email to my politicians, I make sure I’m logged into Brazil or Costa Rica to make it harder to identify me and put me on a subversive list. My Nord subscription gives me protection on up to 3 devices - phone, iPad, desktop. My government has definitely made me more paranoid.
