I’ve been using Nord VPN for 3 years, if that helps with your decision. I should also mention that, on my desktop on which Nord is also installed, I can’t access the local TV listings, probably because that particular web site isn’t accessible from the US where I’m usually seen as being. Again, I log out and log back in. When I’m sending a sharp email to my politicians, I make sure I’m logged into Brazil or Costa Rica to make it harder to identify me and put me on a subversive list. My Nord subscription gives me protection on up to 3 devices - phone, iPad, desktop. My government has definitely made me more paranoid.
Thanks, LL. Nord seems to get a good review on PCMag’s web site. I’ve been a little reluctant to get one, but it seems like anything that can throw a curve in the path of the data is worthwhile. Though I suspect that dot-gov has their way of tracking it regardless.
