Thinking the people jabbed earlier were groups with more fragile health. That would explain the big drop at first and then a more gradual decline.

Actually @Kickthecan if you look at the excess mortality the cohorts of 65+ and above all have below-trend.
Why?

This likely excludes Covid as being the actual cause.
