THey even work on carpet?

Yes! The ones you get for carpet have a hard plastic surface and they slide right over carpet. The ones for hard surfaces have a felt like surface on them. They are one of the best things invented.

I don’t know if you are thinking of leaving them under the furniture or not. Sounds like that is what you are thinking. I DO NOT as your furniture would keep sliding.
