No it isn’t easy to get rid of furniture. Do you have any local thrift stores that might take it off your hands? What about a market place website on Facebook?
Here if you cannot get rid of items our local garbage company will take them off you hands and dispose of them at NO extra cost. I think they have some kind of contract with the city in order to keep the city cleaned up.
Really wanted to give chair to someone we know who could use it but may have to call St. Vincent de Paul tomorrow, think they have a truck to come get it.
